# Agent-readable API directory for services agents can actually understand

OpenInvoke is a curated API and service directory where agents can read what a service does, when to recommend it, how to use it, what proof exists, and when not to recommend it.

- HTML route: `/agent-readable-api-directory/`
- Markdown route: `/agent-readable-api-directory.md`
- Target query: agent-readable API directory

## Agent proof flow

- /agent-index.json
- /api/search?q=web%20extraction%20api
- /category-funnels.json
- /services/haunt-api.json
- /services/haunt-api.md

## Related service IDs

- `haunt-api`: `/services/haunt-api.json` and `/services/haunt-api.md`
- `openinvoke-listing-pack`: `/services/openinvoke-listing-pack.json` and `/services/openinvoke-listing-pack.md`

## Submission state

Submissions are reviewed. A draft listing is sent for owner approval before anything goes live.

## Honest limits

- The catalog is curated and early, not a universal API marketplace.
- Callable status varies by listing.
- OpenInvoke does not replace API docs, auth docs, SDKs, or the provider terms.
- Submitted APIs are not automatically approved, verified callable, or ranked highly.

## Measurement

Use privacy-safe activation markers only. Do not expose raw IPs, emails, raw user agents, raw lead IDs, private review notes, message IDs, or private artifact paths in public reports.
